“ We wound up here when The Clover and the Bee was packed, with a thirty-minute wait, on Presidents' Day. I didn't know anybody got that day off anymore, lol. Anyway, it was a lovely place for a first date, probably better suited to our bohemian natures than the other place would have been anyway. My companion ordered a hand pie/empanada, I ordered a spinach/goat cheese croissant, and we each got a chai latte. The croissant was so-so--they use whole pieces of baby spinach with the stem, and it seems to have gone through a toaster oven or something which singes the edges of the leaves. It tasted nice but I wish it had been a little daintier, first date and all. I greatly enjoyed the chai latte, but my companion is very picky about chai and just thought theirs was okay. I enjoyed the decor and found it easy to hear, even though the place was nearly full. The bathroom was clean and well-stocked. ”
“ What a great neighborhood coffee house! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The service was friendly and quick. We enjoyed goat filled croissants, cheese Danish, chocolate muffin, and raspberry hand pie. All delicious! The tea came out sooo hot that we couldn't drink until until we were almost home, hot chocolate was great, as well as the baklava latte! Enjoying life 1 sip, 1 bite, and 1 small town at a time! Explore everything! ”
“ If you are a person that reads my reviews, you will know that I've recently started a mission to visit and try as many coffee shops as possible. That being said, Webster Groves Garden Cafe was my choice for this morning. The only thing I was disappointed about is that they no longer have quiche...however, that was literally the only negative. That negative wasn't even a big deal when I tasted my bacon and egg on English muffin breakfast sandwich. I also had a sugar free raspberry Latte. As a type 2 diabetic I absolutely love places that offer sugar free options, especially more than just your standard vanilla (that gets boring). Food and drive 5 stars! Service, so friendly and helpful-5 stars. Atmosphere, absolutely in love-5 stars. Will 100% be returning! ”
“ We went there for the live music on a Friday night and we were pleasantly surprised. There is a stage on the back and plenty of chairs. An excellent band played from seven to nine ”
“ How did I not know about this spot? The Garden Cafe in Webster Groves hid from me for a long time but I found it. By day, it’s an inviting space perfect for sipping on coffee or a soothing cup of tea while nibbling on yummy treats like tamales, sandwiches, and croissants. The ambiance is just right for hanging out or getting some work done. But the real magic happens when the sun goes down. The cafe transforms into a music venue, featuring performances that highlight the talents of its owners, Mandy and Gary Schoenberger. Both accomplished musicians, Mandy plays upright bass while Gary is a singer/songwriter Together, they perform with their band, The Perfect Strangers, and their album called Broken released in 2017. ”
“ This coffee shop is the cutest, coziest shop in StL. The owners are so incredibly kind and the baristas are also very friendly. The baklava latte is my go to and the breakfast sandwiches are amazing! ”
“ Great guitar entertainment today. Delicious drip coffees that one can sample - light roast from Ethiopia, medium from Papa New Guinea, and the dark roast is from Columbia! Pastries, a limited breakfast menu and burrito’s (with a gluten-free option). See photographs! ”
“ Really quaint little place where you’ll feel comfortable. The people are really friendly and you can tell Services is their top priority. Little bit of outdoor dining space and a comfortable living room type atmosphere inside. The food is really good. I loved the peach mango smoothie. ”
